***MK PHOTOGRAPHY HAS A NEW WEBSITE***
While I will still continue to chronicle some of my personal adventures in photography on this blog, please see the above website for my portrait business!

I had a crazy busy summer full of senior pictures, especially in August. I loved every minute of it and gained some awesome experience working with new styles of photography and some unique locations and backgrounds. Here is a sampling of images from a few of the shoots. To see more, check out MK Photography's new website at the link above!
This first shoot is my cousin, and the barn in the first two pictures is a piece of our family history. It was built in 1915 and is part of the farm where our great-grandmother grew up.
These last four of my cousin are at an old mansion in Iowa that is now a museum open to the public.
This next set is a neighbor and good friend of mine, so we went to a couple of really fun locations.
She's a swimmer and wanted pictures in a pool.
Relatives of hers live on a farm so we visited that location and took pictures with horses, this adorable pony, a dog, and farm scenery. Anyone who has a location like this available to them and wants to photograph there, let me know!
Here are some more shoots from this summer. Enjoy!
